… he couldn’t get any cuter, he did.  Damn!  We are so grateful every day that Calder chose to be with us.  He’s 14 weeks old now: we have started thinking of his age in months, not weeks.

Grand-dad Fong is in town this weekend, so we all took the subway to Central Park.  Calder’s smile is now becoming a laugh.  It’s very satisfying.

Last weekend, our friend Kat took us back to the ’70s.  Her iPhone took us back to another era for a couple minutes and we’re suddenly our own parents.

Calder can’t speak English or Dutch yet, but he’s getting pretty verbal at the advanced age of 3 months.

In the shadow of a giant Alexander Calder sculpture at Storm King Art Center, our Calder flashes one of his recently signature smiles.

Calder got his passport recently, which required an elaborate photo session.  It was complicated by the fact that Calder can’t hold his head up at 6 weeks.

Our friends Ben and Rachel let us use their summer castle in Connecticut, when Calder was like 2 weeks old and getting a little tired of New York City. We’re constantly taken by how tiny he is but how much space he takes.
